Junctioned
Tentatively named, Junctioned will be a Final Fantasy 8 based project of mine focusing on a group of younger Balamb Garden cadets as they receive their first Guardian Forces and master the basics of para-magic.
I've been musing over something FF8 based for a good while now. Originally I wanted to do something along the lines of a cadet's experiences during the events of the game, particularly the Battle of the Gardens. Now I'm more interested in doing something with GFs and probably more character, setting it roughly 2-3 years before the events of FF8 (which would also mean characters from the game would appear as slightly younger versions of themselves).
The main character, named Takoda at the moment, has just reached a point in his Garden education where he will receive his first GF - a fire GF most likely. His dorm-roomie is at the same stage and trains his GF in the direction of card-based moves due to his interest in Triple Triad.
Adventures will be around and about the Garden, Balamb town, the areas around Balamb and occasionally in Timber via train.
